I was asked to make a chocolate cake for a birthday girl this month. She has already ordered from me before so wanted something the same as previously. I made a rich chocolate cake, filled it with chocolate butter icing. I then covered it in various chocolate sweets in a random fashion. Finally I made some little sugar blossoms to fill in between the chocolates.

I also displayed the cake on a chocolate covered cake board and edged it in ribbon. It was a challenge making this cake in the heat as it was very hot when I was trying to make it, however, it didn't melt and hopefully it tasted lovely.
